Finančná správa said on 21 October that some of its information systems may be temporarily unavailable. The restriction was introduced after a critical vulnerability was identified in PHP.
The authority says the shutdown is intended to protect systems and data and to reduce potential information-security risks. Its notice does not identify the specific services affected and does not state that any data breach has occurred.
Technical teams are working to remove the vulnerability and restore access. Finančná správa has not given a deadline for full recovery and says users will be notified separately when the systems are available again.
