The agency warned of a fraudulent website that copied an older e-services page and demanded payment of a fictitious debt. Sociálna poisťovňa says that site has been blocked. It urges clients not to provide personal or banking details through unverified links and to remain cautious about similar messages.

The fake page copied an older eSlužby design and even included a link to the agency’s real website. Visitors were asked for a rodné číslo to check a debt. The agency explains that the number was not actually validated: the process continued even with invented details.

Fraudulent text messages were also sent from a foreign number. Attempting to settle the supposed debt led to a false payment page. The agency says the aims were to transfer money to fraudsters and obtain card details and bank-account access.

For verification, the agency directs clients to its official website and Electronic Insured Person’s Account. Branches and the information centre can help with questions. A familiar logo or a genuine website link included in a message does not by itself authenticate the sender.
