GDS to shut down on 1 November as import-guarantee services move to CEP

Finančná správa will switch off the GDS client application on 1 November 2026 as part of a technical upgrade to the GUM guarantee-management system. GDS has been used for electronic records of payment guarantees on imports.

Declarants and guarantors should move to the new CEP portal forms for GRN confirmation, allocation of access codes, and notification of guarantee status. Instructions for using the forms are available on CEP.

The Notification of guarantee status form replaces GDS and shows the guarantee’s actual status on the date of the request. Customs transit is excluded from this overview.
