A new state client centre has become fully operational in Martin. It brings together offices handling business licensing, environmental matters, land and forestry, the land registry, transport and roads, as well as the traffic inspectorate and identity-document services.

Residents can also deal with state energy-assistance matters at the centre. District office and police services moved there from four separate addresses; the new premises are larger, have improved technical equipment and provide visitor parking.

The centre had been operating in trial mode since July 2026. According to the government, it processed about 30,000 applications during that period, including identity documents, vehicle registrations and energy-assistance requests.

The Martin office is one of 74 client centres operating across Slovakia under the ESO public-administration reform. The government announcement confirms full operation but does not give a separate opening-hours schedule or appointment rules, so visitors should verify those details through the centre’s official information before travelling.
