About the event
Iva Janžurová plays Parisian stage and screen star Joce de Guérande, preparing to leave for a televised celebration in her honour. An unexpected problem with a security shutter suddenly derails her plans.
The interruption leads to a candid, sarcastic reassessment of her life rather than the tribute scripted for television. Sabina Remundová also performs and directs Jean-Marie Chevret’s play. The source lists a 120-minute running time including an interval.
