About the event
Wim Wenders’ film celebrates choreographer Pina Bausch and her dance theatre. The screening has Czech subtitles and a 12+ rating; the source flags sexual content and frightening scenes.
Excerpts from The Rite of Spring, Café Müller, Kontakthof and Vollmond are interwoven with memories from Tanztheater Wuppertal dancers. After Bausch’s death, Wenders continued the project with her company as a cinematic tribute to her work.
